"Криво чирпанско хоро" е написано в памет на кларинетиста (изпълнител и преподавател) акад. Петко Радев броени дни след кончината му в края на септември 2017 г. Първоначалният вид на пиесата е за духов оркестър, но и този вариант е направен почти паралелно с него.
