RITA PAVONE

DATEMI UN MARTELLO 1964

http://youtu.be/JHyIzV7RQpQ

Datemi un martello.

Che cosa ne vuoi fare?

Lo voglio dare in testa

A chi non mi va, sì sì sì,

A quella smorfiosa

Con gli occhi dipinti

Che tutti quanti fan ballare

Lasciandomi a guardare

Che rabbia mi fa

Che rabbia mi fa

Datemi un martello.

Che cosa ne vuoi fare?

Lo voglio dare in testa

A chi non mi va, eh eh eh

A tutti le coppie

Che stano appiccicate,

Che vogliono le luci spente

E le canzoni lente,

Che noia mi dà, che noia mi dà

E datemi un martello.

Che cosa ne vuoi fare?

Per rompere il telefono

L'adopererò perché sì!

Tra pochi minuti

Mi chiamerà la mamma,

Il babbo ormai sta per tornare,

A casa devo andare, ufa,

Che voglia ne ho, no no no, che voglia ne ho

Un colpo sulla testa

A chi non è dei nostri

E così la nostra festa

Più bella sarà.

Saremo noi soli

E saremo tutti amici:

Faremo insieme i nostri balli

Il surf il hully gully

Che forza sarà...

"SING, SING, SING" BY BENNY GOODMAN

Harry James (trompet), Benny Goodman (clarinet) and Gene Krupa (drums)

Swing .

Benny Goodman  )

The Kinks- 1965

http://youtu.be/BIc-RnqjwWA

Songwriters: DAVIES, RAYMOND DOUGLAS

Baby, I feel good

From the moment I arise

Feel good from morning

Till the end of the day

Till the end of the day

Yeah, you and me

We live this life

From when we get up

Till we go sleep at night

You and me were free

We do as we please, yeah

From morning, till the end of the day

Till the end of the day

Yeah, I get up

And I see the sun up

And I feel good, yeah

'Cause my life has begun

You and me were free

We do as we please, yeah

From morning, till the end of the day

Till the end of the day

Till the end of the day

Till the end of the day

You and me were free

We do as we please, yeah

From morning, till the end of the day

Till the end of the day

Till the end of the day

Kinks - Sunny Afternoon (RARE 1966 clip)

http://youtu.be/uMpkY0P_JGs

Songwriters: Davies, Raymond Douglas;

The tax man's taken all my dough

And left me in my stately home

Lazing on a sunny afternoon

And I can't sail my yacht

He's taken everythin' I've got

All I've got's this sunny afternoon

Save me, save me

Save me from this squeeze

I've got a big fat momma tryin' to break me

And I love to live so pleasantly

Live this life of luxury

Lazing on a sunny afternoon

In the summertime, in the summertime

In the summertime

My girlfriend's gone off with my car

And gone back to her ma and pa

Telling tales of drunkenness and cruelty

Now I'm sitting here

Sipping at my ice cold beer

Lazing on a sunny afternoon

Help me, help me, help me sail away

Well, give me two good reasons

Why I ought to stay

'Cause I love to live so pleasantly

Live this life of luxury

Lazing on a sunny afternoon

In Summertime, in summertime

In summertime

Save me, save me

Save me from this squeeze

I've got a big fat momma tyin' to break me

And I love to live so pleasantly

Live this life of luxury

Lazing on a sunny afternoon

In the summertime, in the summertime

In the summertime, in the summertime

In the summertime

Neil Young - Heart of Gold

"Heart Of Gold"

I want to live,

I want to give

I've been a miner

for a heart of gold.

It's these expressions

I never give

That keep me searching

for a heart of gold

And I'm getting old.

Keeps me searching

for a heart of gold

And I'm getting old.

I've been to Hollywood

I've been to Redwood

I crossed the ocean

for a heart of gold

I've been in my mind,

it's such a fine line

That keeps me searching

for a heart of gold

And I'm getting old.

Keeps me searching

for a heart of gold

And I'm getting old.

Keep me searching

for a heart of gold

You keep me searching

for a heart of gold

And I'm growing old.

I've been a miner

for a heart of gold.

The Animals - House of the Rising Sun (1964)

No one knows who wrote the house of the rising sun, But all I know is that the Animals Sang it the best in 1964, and people still love it :)

Eric Burdon - Vocals

Alan Price - Keyboard

Hilton Valentine - Lead Guitar

Chas Chandler - Bass Guitar

John Steel - Drums

http://youtu.be/mmdPQp6Jcdk

There is a house in New Orleans

They call the Rising Sun

And it's been the ruin of many a poor boy

And God, I know I'm one

My mother was a tailor

Sewed my new blue jeans

My father was a gamblin' man

Down in New Orleans

Now the only thing a gambler needs

Is a suitcase and a trunk

And the only time that he's satisfied

Is when he's on a drunk

Oh mother, tell your children

Not to do what I have done

Spend your lives in sin and misery

In the House of the Rising Sun

Well, I've got one foot on the platform

And the other foot on the train

I'm going back to New Orleans

To wear that ball and chain

Well, there is a house in New Orleans

They call the Rising Sun

And it's been the ruin of many young poor boy

And God, I know I'm one

Cream - Sunshine Of Your Love (Farewell Concert - Extended Edition)

Cream - Sunshine Of Your Love live at Royal Albert Hall, London.

November 26th, 1968

"Farewell Concert" is the live recording of the Cream's final concert at the Royal Albert Hall on November 26th, 1968.

Directed by Tony Palmer, the film incorporates pieces of six performances with narration by BBC announcer Patrick Allen, along with interviews with the band members themselves, showcasing their playing abilities.

The film has often been criticized for both its mediocre sound and visual effects.

In 2005, a special extended edition of the concert appeared featuring full versions of all songs separated from the narration and interviews. The new version featured digitally remastered sound and video including three bonus songs.

It's getting near dawn

When lights close their tired eyes

I'll soon be with you my love

To give you my dawn surprise

I'll be with you darling soon

I'll be with you when the stars start falling

I've been waiting so long

To be where I'm going

In the sunshine of your love

I'm with you my love

The light's shining through on you

Yes, I'm with you my love

It's the morning and just we two

I'll stay with you darling now

I'll stay with you till my seas are dried up

I've been waiting so long

To be where I'm going

In the sunshine of your love

I'm with you my love

The light's shining through on you

Yes, I'm with you my love

It's the morning and just we two

I'll stay with you darling now

I'll stay with you till my seas are dried up

I've been waiting so long

I've been waiting so long

I've been waiting so long

To be where I'm going

In the sunshine of your love

Cream - Whiteroom (Farewell Concert - Extended Edition)

http://youtu.be/LwXsGQlkrwI

In the white room with black curtains near the station

Black-roof country, no gold pavements, tired starlings

Silver horses, ran-down moonbeams, in your dark eyes

Dawn-light smiles on you leaving my contentment

I'll wait in this place

Where the sun never shines

Wait in this place

Where the shadows run from themselves

You said no strings could secure you at the station

Platform ticket, restless diesels, goodbye windows

I walked into such a sad time at the station

As I walked out, felt my own need just beginning

I'll wait in the queue

When the trains come back

Lie with you

Where the shadows run from themselves

At the party, she was kindness in the hard crowd

Consolation for the old wound now forgotten

Yellow tigers crouched in jungles in her dark eyes

She's just dressing, goodbye windows, tired starlings

I'll sleep in this place

With the lonely crowd

Lie in the dark

Where the shadows run from themselves

Cream - Crossroads (Farewell Concert - Extended Edition)

http://youtu.be/becWr0vc6cA

I went down to the crossroads

Fell down on my knees

Down to the crossroads

Fell down on my knees

Asked the Lord above for mercy

"Take me, if you please"

I went down to the crossroads

Tried to flag a ride

Down to the crossroads

Tried to flag a ride

Nobody seemed to know me

Everybody passed me by

Well, I'm going down to Rosedale

Take my rider by my side

Going down to Rosedale

Take my rider by my side

You can still barrelhouse, baby

On the riverside

Going down to Rosedale

Take my rider by my side

Going down to Rosedale

Take my rider by my side

You can still barrelhouse, baby

On the riverside

You can run, you can run

Tell my friend boy Willie Brown

Run, you can run

Tell my friend boy Willie Brown

And I'm standing at the crossroads

Believe I'm sinking down

Tombe la neige - SALVATORE ADAMO

Tombe la neige

Tu ne viendras pas ce soir

Tombe la neige

Et mon coeur s'habille de noir

Ce soyeux cortege

Tout en larmes blanches

L'oiseau sur la branche

Pleure le sortilege

Tu ne viendras pas ce soir

Me crie mon désespoir

Mais tombe la neige

Impassible manege

Tombe la neige

Tu ne viendras pas ce soir

Tombe la neige

Tout est blanc de désespoir

Triste certitude

Le froid et l'absence

Cet odieux silence

Blanche solitude

Tu ne viendras pas ce soir

Me crie mon désespoir

Mais tombe la neige

Impassible manege

Adamo - La Nuit

http://youtu.be/egWpdU7FvxA

Tantôt tu me reviens fugace et tu m'appelles pour me narguer

The Marmalade - Reflections of My Life 1970

http://youtu.be/vnbY089cQlw

The changing of sunlight to moonlight

Reflections of my life

Oh, how they fill my eyes

The greetings of people in trouble

Reflections of my life

Oh, how they fill my eyes

All my sorrow

Sad tomorrow

Take me back to my old home

All my crying (all my crying)

Feel I'm dying, dying

Take me back to my old home

I'm changing, arranging

I'm changing, I'm changing everything

Ah, everything around me

The world is a bad place

A bad place, a terrible place to live

Oh, but I don't wanna die

All my sorrow

Sad tomorrow

Take me back to my old home

All my crying (all my crying)

Feel I'm dying, dying

Take me back to my old home

All my sorrow (all my sorrow)

Sad towmorrow

Take me back (take me back) to my old home

All my crying (all my crying)

Feel I'm dying, dying

Bread - Everything I Own

http://youtu.be/zNtC95e2-F4

You sheltered me from harm

Kept me warm, kept me warm

You gave my life to me

Set me free, set me free

The finest years I ever knew

Were all the years I had with you

And I would give anything I own

Give up my life, my heart, my home

I would give everything I own

Just to have you back again

You taught me how to love

What it's of, what it's of

You never said too much

But still you showed the way

And I knew from watching you

Nobody else could ever know

The part of me that can't let go

And I would give anything I own

Give up my life, my heart, my home

I would give everything I own

Just to have you back again

Is there someone you know

You're loving them so

But taking them all for granted

You may lose them one day

Someone takes them away

And they don't hear the words you long to say

I would give anything I own

Give up my life, my heart, my home

I would give everything I own

Just to have you back again

Just to touch you once again

BREAD - BABY I'M A WANT YOU

http://youtu.be/h_tbv8HXsXA

Baby I'm-a want you

Baby I'm-a need you

You're the only one I care enough to hurt about

Maybe I'm-a crazy

But I just can't live without

your lovin' and affection

Givin' me direction

like a guiding light to help me through a darkest hour

Lately I'm a-prayin'

that you'll always be a-stayin' beside me

Used to be my life was just emotions passing by

Feeling all the while and never really knowing why

Lately I'm a-prayin'

that you'll always be a-stayin' beside me.

Used to be my life was just emotions passing by

Then you came along and made me laugh and made me cry

You taught me why

Baby I'm-a want you

Baby I'm-a need you

Oh, it took so long to find you, baby

Baby I'm-a want you

Baby I'm-a need you

BREAD - DOWN ON MY KNEES

http://youtu.be/NjqvC8Rh444

I've told you before

Don't you hear what i say?

I won't take it no more

no more making me stay

Down on my knees

You know i'm down on my knees, yeah

Yes i've been down on my knees, but i'm through begging please

I wont get back on my knees, yeah

Nobody knows what your putting me through

Nobody knows if it's worth it for you

Nobody sees you got me down on my knees, yeah

Well i've been down on my knees, well I'm through begging please

don't put my back on my knees, yeah

You know that i always loved you

Never placed myself above you

Don't let me go with my ways that i could

Don't tell me no with my ways that you would

Down on my knees

You've brought me down on my knees, yeah

Well i've been down on my knees, but I'm through begging please

don't put me back on my knees, yeah

You know how i always loved you

There's no time that i have tried to place myself above you

Down on my knees

You know that i'm down on my knees, yeah

Well i've been down on my knees, but I'm through beggin' please

don't put me back on my knees, yeah

Ya i've been down on, but I'm through begging please

don't put me back on my knees

Dámaso Pérez Prado (December 11, 1916 – September 14, 1989) was a Cuban bandleader, musician (singer, organist and pianist), and composer. He is often referred to as the 'King of the Mambo'

ORIGINAL QUE RICO EL MAMBO

QUE RICO EL MAMBO was the mambo that opened the doors to Perez Prado around the world. It took the whole world by storm. The hit parade charts went through the roof. There is so much that we can say of this mambo that I cannot find the correct words. This video clip includes; The Dolly Sisters, Rita Montaner, Resortes, the hot and sexy Mimi Marshall and the original orchestra and the original sound.

ITS CHA CHA CHA

Patsy Cline "Crazy"

When her Four Star contract expired in 1960, Cline signed with Decca Records-Nashville, under the direction of legendary producer Owen Bradley. He was not only responsible for much of the success behind Cline's recording career, but also for the careers of Brenda Lee and Loretta Lynn.

Thanks to her vocal versatility, and with the help of Bradley's direction and arrangements, Cline enjoyed both country and pop success. Bradley's arrangements incorporated strings and other instruments not typical of country recordings of the day. He considered Cline's voice best-suited for country pop-crossover songs, and helped smooth her voice into the silky, torch song style for which she is famous. Nevertheless, she did not really enjoy singing pop material. This new, more sophisticated instrumental style became known as The Nashville Sound, founded by Bradley and RCAs Chet Atkins, who produced Jim Reeves, Skeeter Davis, Connie Smith, and Eddy Arnold.

Crazy

Crazy for feeling so lonely

I'm crazy

Crazy for feeling so blue

I knew

You'd love me as long as you wanted

And then someday

You leave me for somebody new

Worry

Why do I let myself worry

Wondring

What in the world did I do

Crazy

For thinking that my love could hold you

I'm crazy for trying

I'm crazy for crying

I'm crazy for loving you

Crazy

For thinking that my love could hold you

I'm crazy for trying

I'm crazy for crying

I'm crazy for loving you
