We call this our Direct Recording Combo Amp. We should have called it Yoda, because there isn't much this diminutive wizard can't handle. The heart of the crafty Trademark 10 is a modified version of the super flexible SansAmp GT2 pedal design. Construct your tone by selecting amp character, gain structure and speaker type, and then use the drive controls and active three-band EQ to nail your sound. The 10-watt output is plenty loud for practice and monitoring but the balanced XLR and 1/4" outputs bring the big tones of this little combo to the studio mixer or PA system. Bedroom, rehearsal, studio or club, the Trademark 10 will prove it's a giant amongst compact combos. работи ок. Транформатора е за 220 в, изведен навън от комбото. View the full article

Palmer pocket amp, аналог на amp-a работи ок Sonically, this box is rather good: the selection of amp 'models' covers 'Tweed', 'Brit' and 'US', with each offering a different amount of distortion. Tweed ranges from clean to moderate break‑up, Brit from break‑up to hard‑rock distortion, and US from there to heavy‑metal, high‑gain sounds. There's sufficient overlap in the amount of distortion offered by the models that once you pick your starting point you're able to approximate some sounds offered by the other models, simply by adjusting the Drive and EQ settings.

Since they are magnetically screened, the 4208s may also be used close to a video monitor with no ill effects, making them attractive to the video post-production fraternity. There seems to be a shortage of monitors in this price range, which is somewhat higher than the typical hi-fi speaker used for near-field work, but significantly lower than most purpose-built monitors. While the 4208 is not the only monitor in this market area, there are few similarly-priced speakers offering a comparable specification. Since they are magnetically screened, the 4208s may also be used close to a video monitor with no ill effects, making them attractive to the video post-production fraternity. Any speaker is a compromise but I feel that, despite the inevitable criticisms, this model has enough plus points to be given serious consi... View the full article

Also affectionately known as the "parrot box." Perhaps named after the bird that can mimic the human language and many other sounds. The Parrot Box can be used as an amp+speaker simulator, or just as a speaker simulator depending on what else you are using with it. It can be used as a pedal or as a tabletop unit; the big 'bump' on top is the bypass footswitch and there is a duplicate control on the front panel. There is an input selector giving 'Preamp', 'Guitar' and 'Distortion' options. You should select the 'Preamp' option if - as the name suggests - you are feeding it from a separate preamp; this mode is the least coloured and the Parrot Box basically functions as a speaker simulator. If you are playing a clean guitar (with no distortion pedals), then the 'Guitar' option is for you; in this mode, a preset EQ is engaged producing a sparkly, chimey clean amp sound. When using distortion pedals (or processor), the 'Distortion' option is the best; in this mode, a preset EQ is engaged but with more of the upper frequencies filtered off to prevent your distortion sounding fizzy and fake. There is an input gain control to match the Parrot Box to the signal source. Once you have chosen... View the full article
