Разделяне клавиатурата на Alesis QS6, QS7 и QS8

Recommended Posts

Тъй като преди седмица си смених стария и вярно служещ ми Korg M1 и на негово място купих Alesis QS7, се сблъсках с един проблем. Как да разделя клавиатурата (т.н. split)?

Setting the lower and upper note ranges for the first Program

sound

1. Press MIX.

2. Press 00 PIANO in the SOUND GROUP selection buttons.

3. Press 0 in the PROGRAM/MIX selection buttons. You should now be in the

Program “Zen Piano”.

4. Look at the PAGE buttons to the left of the LCD. You will see the words MIX

CHANNEL PROGAM SELECT below them. These buttons let you choose a

MIDI channel 1-16 and assign and edit the Program on that channel. The MIDI

channel numbers can be seen along the bottom of the LCD and will flash when a

channel has been selected for editing.

5. Press MIX CHANNEL PROGRAM SELECT- RIGHT until you see “PnoStrVox”

#009 BANK: PRESET3 and MIDI channel 1 flashing on the LCD. This is the piano

Program that plays through channel 1 and makes up one half of the “Zen Piano” mix.

We’re now going to set the range for this sound.

6. Press EDIT SELELCT.

7. Press 110 RHYTHM/FX (Range) in the SOUND GROUP selection buttons.

RIGHT. The LCD shows “RANGE HiLim”.

11. Press and hold 110 RHYTHM/FX (Range) in the SOUND GROUP selection

buttons. While holding this button down, press the highest note you want the

“PnoStrVox” sound to play, in this case the note “B” below middle “C”. The LCD

should read “HiLim: B2 059”. If it doesn’t, you can use the VALUE UP or DOWN

buttons until it does.

12. Now play the keyboard. You’ll hear that the piano sound stops at the middle “C”

(C3) and only the string sound plays on the right-hand side of the keyboard.

Setting the lower and upper note ranges for the Second Program

sound

13. Press MIX to get out of EDIT MODE.

RIGHT. The LCD shows “Range HiLim:”.

20. Press and hold 110 RHYTHM/FX (Range) in the SOUND GROUP selection

buttons. While holding this button down, press the highest note you want the “String

Vox” sound to play, e.g. the highest note on your keyboard. The LCD shows you the

note name and number you’ve set the highest limit to.

21. Now play the keyboard. You’ll hear that the “String Vox” sound stops at the Middle

“C” (C3) and only “PnoStrVox” plays on the left-hand side of the keyboard.
